Having never met before, Curtis Heimburger and Madison Simpson found themselves hanging out late one night in Curtis’ dorm room with his roommate and roommate's band. The band were sitting comfortably under a lofted bed and an idea struck: what if we filmed and recorded them playing a few songs? Just for fun?

Maddy grabbed her camera and Curtis set up the only two mics he had to shoot the first video at approximately 2:30am. When the video was finished, another idea struck: what if we film our friends and their bands?

Before they knew it, the first season was over and they had filmed 24 episodes. As season 2 was announced, various acts were starting to ask to do sessions instead of the other way around. What had started as something "just for fun" had become a full time job.
447 Park Drive
When season 4 rolled around, Curtis had moved out of the 447 Park Dr apartment, leaving them with nowhere to film. After posting a cry for help, Tedhouse, a local house show venue, answered to offer their space.

As of right now, Tiny Dorm has wrapped up it's 4th season and is more than excited to prepare for the 5th.
